I think a great substitute that you can find in almost any store would be New Castle. It has a great taste and should work just as well. Really you grew up in the valley huh? Where abouts? I am in Woodland Hills but grew up in Sherman Oaks.
Ok, I came back to watch this and a couple of your other videos. They are really fun! I usually make a bourbon rib recipe but I think yours sounds really good too. I'll give it a try sometime soon but since I am not likely going to make a homebrew...
Yeah hebrew hoisin ribs would have been pretty interesting. Although I am Jewish I have a healthy appetite for pork and these are babyback ribs. LOL.
I'm cracking up. I saw your post and, I assume because it's late, I read it as Hebrew Hoisin Ribs! My first thought was "what the heck is that?" I'm still laughing so I'll watch your video tomorrow. I'm sure Homebrew is just as interesting!
