I am from Georgia. I teach part time at a local university. I have been cooking for about 25 years. Most nights I cook for 7 people, and when I plan for leftovers, I cook 10 serving, so I almost always cut my recipes in half before posting! I love cooking new things, and since I have so many to feed, I generally get an honest opinion of what I cook!

My grandaddy was an amazing cook. He was particularly fabulous when it came to cooking different types of meat. I have to give him at least half of the credit (the other 1/2 going to my maternal grandmother) for teaching me that experimentation would teach me more than any recipe ever could.
