hmm... now this is a challenge. Paneer is kinda specific, as it doesn't melt into the dish, which most ready-made cheeses will. Haloumi doesn't, so I guess it would be a possibility, although haloumi's taste is stronger and it's texture is a bit f...

Hello great cooks community -- I want to make the Indian spinach dish called palek paneer but would like to substitute a ready-made cheese for actually make it myself. Any suggestions?
