We started this community back in mid-February so the folks connected on the Great Cooks blogroll could come and get to know each other better. GCC has grown larger than we ever expected.

Charles is my husband, GCC's web/blog tech advisor and food voyeur. He's the father of this community. Without him, we wouldn't be here. He keeps us operating smoothly and is constantly seeking new ways to make this place like no other community site. (I'm proud of him, can you tell?)

As for me, well, I'm learning and blogging just like everyone here. I'm always around, checking in and making sure GCC stays a family friendly community. I care about the safety of the growing fellowship that lives here.

Colleen, I'm genuine when I say, "I'm happy you're here."
