- I am a 22 year old accounting student that is just learning how to cook. I want to really understand food and learn the basics so that eventually I can do more than just follow recipes. I also want to integrate cooking into my life more so I can make good meals on a regular basis instead of going out to eat.

- Hey Andy, thanks for the complements about my pictures. I've just swapped to a Fuji Finepix S9600 but I think the biggest thing that can let you down with pictures is the lighting. I bought a light, it was around 30 pounds and it makes a big difference. I really need two though as I still get shadows.
I haven't had a chance to get to know everyone on this site yet but I need to spend some time looking through everyone's blogs. I'm looking forward to it!
