Comment by Penelope on March 19, 2009 at 8:52am: That's a great simple recipe. I love the Tzakziki sauce too. There doesn't seem to be much activity on this spot of the site. We should talk more. I'm starting plants for my garden -- I've grown to love medium hot yellow peppers; aren't they used in Greek food? How have any of you used them?

Also, I've read that basil isn't used much in Greek cooking even though it grows wild throughout the region, but that it's a "ceremonial" herb there. . .how so?
